Description:
1. Vehicle could be inspected from 17th of December, 2015 – 20th of December 2015 from 09.00 AM – 17.00 PM and 08.00 AM to 10.00 AM on 21st of December, 2015 at Terre des hommes office – No. 18, Covington Road, Batticaloa. Test drive will not be permitted.
2. Completed sealed bids should be deposited to the Tender Box kept at the same address on or before the 21st of December 2015 at 10.00 AM. Please write “Bid for vehicle sale†in the left hand corner of the envelope. The price offer must be indicated in Sri Lankan Rupees only.
3. Opening of bids will be held on 21st of December, 2015 at 10.15 AM (soon after the closing) and the selected bidder will be notified on the same day. The bidder or the representative of the bidder could be present at the bids opening meeting and we strongly encourage the presence.
4. The selected bidder should confirm his interest by paying Rs.50,000 as a non-refundable deposit soon after the bid opening. Balance payment should be made by cash deposit to the Bank account of Terre des hommes on or before 23rd of December 2015 and Terre des hommes will prepare the sales documents in order to formalize the transfer of ownership enabling the buyer to process the transfer of the registration and proceed with all other related documentation. The ownership transfer could be done only in the name of the selected bidder, no exception will be given.
